ARTIST HISTORY:
Karen and Ron Goodman started Apple of His Eye Ministries in 1999. While they
are anointed teachers and Ron is an awesome worship leader, their primary focus
is prayer and intercession for Israel. To help accomplish this, God has blessed
them with a House of Prayer in Tiberias, with plans for additional houses in Jerusalem
and other strategic locations in Israel. They believe they have four major responsibilities
to Israel. The goal of the ministry is to live out these responsibilities and
to teach them to the body of Christ: One, to love and to bless Israel (Gen. 12:3;
Isa 40:1). Two, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122:6). Three, to aid
in Israel's restoration (Isa. 61:5). Four, to provoke our Jewish brethren to jealousy
(Deut. 32:21, Rom. 11:11).
The House of Prayer in Tiberias
is a place for 24-hour worship and intercession. While it is not an evangelistic
center, hostel, boarding house or bed and breakfast, it is a place for intercessors
to go to pray. Guests are asked to keep a daily prayer watch. Other than that
guests are not required to participate in any other activities and are free
to use their time as the Lord instructs them. While the ministry sets no specific
fees and everything is done on a love-offering basis, I feel led to say that
God does not muzzle the ox. These are precious saints of God. For me personally
it would be an honor for the Lord to allow me to go to Israel to pray. I would
gladly give them whatever amount the Lord released to me to give. I ask you
to keep that in prayer if you feel led to contact them about the House of Prayer.
