There are times when the
Lord has me review our previous update postings and see how many months in advance
we were called upon to pray for a situation that then took place months later.
Sometime in 2003 He let me know that Arafat and Sharon would pass on from this
earth, but He did not have us pray for that on this site. In October He had
us specifically pray for the doves and the hawks in Israel, those that want
to find peace and actively pursue it and those that feel the only way to peace
is war. It is clear that with the passing of Arafat that prayer is extremely
important. I sense a necessity this month to continue to pray for those in Israel,
both Jew, Muslim and Christian, and that they would actively seek peace and
the way of the cross of Christ. I also sense a need to pray for the Lord to
remove a spirit in the body of Christ, especially in America, but also worldwide.
I hesitate to name it because everyone has a different definition of what and
how this thing looks like inside the church. Instead I will say that in 1999
the Lord made it clear to me that there would be coming a day in the church
where He would remove a spirit of Jezebel from off His people and purge its
teaching from the generations of people within the church that it had affected.
The time is coming when the Lord will do that. Back then I had no idea how prevalent
it would become and how 'perfectly' it would teach deception as if it was the
unadulterated word of God and how whole groups of people would buy into it,
hook, line and sinker. Instead of going into specifics here, I would prefer
to have the Holy Spirit do HIS THING and just pray as He would want us to, which
is that He would remove deceptive teachings within the church and expose it
to the light of His Truth and help those that have come up under its influence
repent of the falsity and ask Him to deliver them. In this way no one but the
Holy Spirit does the work and we, in our own way, cause no harm and another
mess that the Lord has to straighten out anyway. In this way we develop no 'opinions'
about people. God just does what He desires to do and we bless what He is doing---all
we do is pray for everyone's deliverance. Again, may the Peace of Christ, which
passes all understanding guard your hearts and minds this coming year and may
you fulfill your God-given purpose on this planet.

November
2004 Update: |
| |
We ask that you continue
to keep the state of Florida and the United States in prayer. Many, including
our own family will not be able to share the holidays in a house that is cleaned
up and repaired. I also ask that you keep the body of Christ worldwide in prayer
this month as she will need to come into unity in the days ahead to reach out
to financially strapped and emotionally wounded people. There is still much
environmental shaking going on worldwide (Japan, and the Asian-American Pacific
rim). Do what you can in the days ahead to save food and resources so that you
can give to those that are in disaster areas (whether those disasters are manmade
or natural/environmental events). We have continued to pray for your needs as
you emailed them. Be encouraged---for the Lord has answered many of your prayers
and will continue to do so in the future.

October
2004 Update: |

As many of you read in the
feature article this month, we are asking for donations for the victims of Hurricane
Ivan. You can click on the feature article to read about the specific needs.
Please pray for these families and so many others. As you can read, we have
interceded in months past concerning catastrophic events. This month I had the
Lord drop a word in my spirit concerning the doves and the hawks in Israel.
What I sensed from that phrase was that those who believe in being harsh with
the Palestinians and those who lean more toward a peaceful solution will be
able to come to some kind of agreement in their handling of security within
their own borders. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult
time here in Florida. As soon as we get our landline back and can establish
an internet connection we will email you. Thank you and God bless.

2004 Update: |

This month is unusual in
that instead of prayer for America or Israel and Arab nations, the Lord highlighted
Europe to me. As many of you will notice, the times of our prayer requests from
the Lord are months out of any possible occurrence. For example, He told us
in December of 2002 that the troops would be coming from the south, not the
north out of Turkey (that then took place in March of 2003). He began to warn
us of ambushes long before any of us knew of the insurgencies. In fact He warned
us while it was looking as if the war was over. (See the archive on this page)
Praying for America and Israel are still front and center for us here at the
ministry; that will not change unless the Lord changes that. But for whatever
reasons He has, He wants us to pray for Europe this month. I would suspect,
as has been the case in the past, that this is for a future time. Recently,
He reminded me of a word He had given to me last year while I was in France.
As I pondered whether this was something He wanted shared on this page, He let
me know that He wanted the article this month to discuss losing our First Love
(see the feature article this month). As I pondered this, I realized Europe
had lost their love affair with Jesus a long time ago. I know that there have
been recent mini-revivals, but for anyone traveling through Europe, the hedonism
is astonishing---at least it was for me. Yet at the same time that the Lord
was showing me that, I felt that prayer and evangelism (albeit specifically
targeted for Europeans as the Lord gives the strategies) with specific prophetic
warnings could win the hearts of many on that continent. After the Lord let
me know He would judge Europe (specifically France) for its sin, the Eiffel
Tower had a fire on the top of it and rain and drought killed nearly 15,000.
Right after that I felt the tender love and mercy of God desiring to reach out
to Europe (and specifically the French). Please don't misunderstand me in thinking
that God sent the fire to the tower or killed 15,000 people. He simply does
not kill people. He wants to see everyone come to a saving knowledge of Christ.
But sometimes our sin opens the door for demonic enemy forces that do want us
dead. God knows this and wants to spare us. This is that type of prayer---a
prayer of agreement for the salvation of Europeans in record numbers. I sense
the need to pray for the reception of the Gospel by Europeans and to pray especially
for the Christians working to spread Jesus' kingdom in that region. They need
targeted strategies and fresh eyes from the Holy Spirit to effectuate God's
plans. If you have any prayer requests, don't hesitate to send them in. We can
give some praise reports that some of you have sent in. Thank you for sharing
when God answers prayer---and He does answer. Don't get weary in doing good,
the Answer is on His way!!!

This
month I ask those of you that can to pray as Daniel would have prayed. What I
mean by that is that Daniel was asked of the Lord to intercede for his people,
even though that intercession meant repenting for the sins that they committed,
even though Daniel himself did not commit those sins. The Jewish people of Daniel's
time were getting ready to experience judgment for their sins in the form of even
tighter restrictions from their Babylonian captors. Daniel had not even been born
yet when those sins were committed. Even more important, Daniel was not even in
the land and among the Jewish people any longer. (Daniel 9:1-21) So this month
I had a sensing that those of you who may be Americans, and possibly those of
you that love America, but do not live here, pray and repent for America's sins.
I know that is not a popular idea, but it is Biblical. Jesus, who knew no sin
became sin for us that we might escape the judgment due us that our sins caused.
(2 Corinthians 5:21) For those of us that are not Jewish, I would also ask that
you repent for Israel's sins so that she is able to come to a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ. For those of us that are not Muslim, I ask that we also repent
for the sin going on in that camp and that their human eyes be opened to the true
Prince of Peace and their spiritual eyes be opened to accept Him as their Lord
and Savior. This is not some kind of pleading or groveling prayer. We know by
faith that the Lord's will is to be merciful and save us. Repentance opens the
door for that. Earlier in the year the Lord showed us planets and stars colliding
and open doors for the preaching of the Gospel. But along with that understanding
came the reality that the enemy would try to cause catastrophe and mayhem in order
for those doors to open. As Christians we can pray for the righteous hand of God
in judgment to be averted and ask for doors of thanksgiving and praise to be opened
in order to preach the Gospel. We can believe God's word of mercy extended to
us to pray. Please pray in faith, proclaiming the word of mercy and repentance
over people groups. Our word this month was mercy for America, Israel and the
peoples of the world. World War III DOES NOT HAVE TO TAKE PLACE. It can be averted.
Those of you that can, please come in agreement for the merciful hand of our Lord.
God desires to be merciful. Let's continue to pray for the refugees (especially
Christian) worldwide, for their plight (especially those in Sudan and Indonesia)
and their trials to be over and that humanitarian relief get to them and food
supplies be kept open. As well, please pray for the folks ministering the Gospel
in those parts of the world (Africa, Asia and pan-Arabia). For those of you that
can, please pray for the safety of President Bush. He is our brother in the Lord,
as are many other leaders in the world. They need our prayers and petitions like
never before. Answered prayer for us is answered prayer for them as well. Let
me say one more thing about that without wading into politics. When Joshua was
getting ready to take Jericho, he came upon an intense soldier. Not recognizing
immediately who this 'soldier' was, he asked the question, "Whose side are
you on?" If I can paraphrase, the angel of the Lord replied, "I'm not
on anybody's side. I've come on the side of the Lord." (Joshua 5:13-15) It
was after this dialogue that Joshua realized who he was talking to. There are
some choices as Christians that God lets us make up our own minds about. Then
there are other choices that we must ask Him for His eyesight. God sees the hearts
of mankind like we cannot. He can see something in people that we simply can't.
Sowing and reaping does not always come in the same year. There are things coming
down the road that God sees and knows exactly how different people will react.
A tract record of what they have done in the past sometimes is a good human guide
for what someone will do in the future. Safety, security and spiritual health
for the families and people of a nation are critical. When a person governs a
nation and does not cave into the desires of a few that will overwhelm the spiritual
health and security of a nation, it seems like a good human guide for what someone
will do in the future. No matter what country you are reading this website from,
remember to always pray for the Lord's desires and the people that are in leadership
over you, whether they are Christian or not (Romans 13). We pray daily for your
prayer needs. We can continue to believe in faith and thank God for His continued
mercy upon us that we have lived in relative peace in this country since 2001.

On
June 7th the Lord gave me an experience, whether a vision or a dream, I cannot
say. My husband and I were birds in a room of our home flying and singing and
under a faucet pouring out fresh water. Outside of our safety zone I knew were
hardships and difficulties but inside we could fly to a nesting place and we were
totally fenced in, safe, though it did not necessarily look that way. Instantly
I heard a song being sung---" 'Survivor, Survivor!' No tear has my pillow,
no pain takes my side, a river protects me and grace has survived! 'Survivor,
Survivor,' the land makes a cry! A new day has dawned and His blood does provide.
Survivor, the King has arrived!" The song goes on with other words and choruses.
But instantly I knew the Lord was speaking to our nation, and many others for
a time to come. As I went about the Lord's business that day, those of you that
had read this link last month and the article from last month started to contact
us and the ministry. You also emailed other ministry's newsletters which confirmed
what was shared in our update last month. It really was awesome that the Lord
would give this dream-vision experience before all of you started to weigh in.
It gave me joy to know that, as many of you said, God's people are not appointed
to wrath. He warns us, not only for our benefit, but to bring many others in with
us. We will not only survive during the time to come, but we can pray now for
the King's arrival in provision, safety and protection so we can propel people
forward with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many of you that did contact
us warned of a difficult time coming for Israel, others for the United States.
So this month I would ask you to join with us in praying for the peace of Jerusalem
and our leaders here States'-side and for other Christians worldwide for provision
and peace and safety and for the protection of our troops---that God's grace and
His love shed abroad in our hearts would woo and draw those who are experiencing
difficulty and hardship, even those who would breath violence and hatred, to saving
faith in Jesus Christ. As always we pray for the exposure of enemy forces and
their capture, both by the angels of the Lord and by lawful, God-ordained troops
on earth. We pray that God helps each one to save up for difficult times and that
God would give you tremendous ABUNDANCE in the days ahead so that we will be survivors
and have something to share with our neighbors. We speak Abundance, Abundance
in the Holy Spirit for you all. We keep your individual needs in prayer. You can

I'm
so thankful to the Lord for answered prayer, even on a small basis in Iraq. Like
so many of you we have been praying for our troops and the recent uprisings leading
up to the handover at the end of June. We've been praying for the capture of those
who would wreck havoc on the world in violence and terrorism. But this month I
feel lead to pray for next year, 2005. I know that would seem odd to some, but
there it is. Pray as the Holy Ghost leads you, but what I've been praying is that
as Joseph did in the Old Testament, we would have a word of preservation to give
to the world in their time of need. The obvious word is that of saving grace through
belief in Jesus Christ. Atmospheric conditions are creating weather disturbances
worldwide, which always affects crop growth. The pipeline to get food and supplies
to people has to be kept open and people have to have the wherewithal to be able
to purchase and attain these staples. While there are physical elements that can
hinder this process, there are spiritual elements at work also. With the uprising
of immorality in and around places where large portions of food does grow, wild
fires, drought and disease follows. We are praying for softened hearts to receive
the word of preservation that will be preached and the ability to preach by all
of us that can do so. The love of God necessitates His ability to make things
right, to see His judgments in the land of the living. We are praying for His
mercy to flow to and through us to a lost and dying world. We are so thankful
to be able to come in agreement with those of you that do pray. We're so excited
to be able to see even small victories overseas. Our word from the Lord this month
is to stand in faith and you will be victorious. We continue to pray for your

2004 Update: |

Please
forgive us for not getting an update ready for April. The Feature article was
written in March for April, but everyone assumed that the new site would be up
and running in April. When it wasn't, I realized that the previous word I had
from the Lord concerning this page was really to fast and pray and take communion
for 40 days from the beginning of February through April 11th. After seeing what
has gone on in Iraq in April, I realized the need for fasting and the taking of
communion with the Lord. Whether we realize it or not, what we do in our daily
lives is an intercession for our troops and what goes on around the world. Over
the last ten days three words keep resounding in my ears from last year and 3
years ago. One had to do with 1 Chronicles 21 where David makes a serious mistake
in counting the army. It costs 70,000 lives, BUT when he repents and makes intercession,
the temple is built on the exact same site of this sacrifice. The other was the
birthing of twins Esau (the hunter) and Jacob and their reconciliation. The last
one had to do specifically with all the nations of the world being bent and changed
to the will of the Lord---AND THAT INCLUDED AMERICA. (You can view these various
words in the archive section of this page and in the archive section of the Feature
Article page.) Before the war, and at odds with many in the church, I felt that
I had a clear word from the Lord that we were to wait a bit longer and try to
work things out with the UN. That if we went to war sooner, that we would be losing
a whole generation of potential pastors (Rachel weeping for her children). This
did not sit well when I shared it with a few pastors. As well the word that President
Bush was acting like David and it would cost a great loss of life---BUT in the
place (or region) where this took place, God's glorious presence would be established.
The Lord showed me it was inevitable that we would go into Iraq, but if we waited
a little longer, judgment would not take place on America (like it did for Israel
in 1 Chronicles 21). There is good news. These breaches by a Christian president
would cause the symbolic birthing of Esau, the hunter and Jacob. And as history
was in the past, their reconciliation. We have already seen the 'hunter' spirit
attack and capture--by the way, not only among the Arabs, but this attitude is
in many other people. Now it's time to see them restored to Christ and their brother,
(symbolically Jacob, Christians and Jews). Unfortunately, America is in a precarious
place of judgment. (You can read this in the book, Beyond Strongholds in Chapter
10). I HAVE GOOD NEWS. We can repent. We can change our minds and realize we have
broken God's laws. The first law is when we did not continue to obey an authority
placed over us by God in the UN. Think of it as a pastor over a church--Kofi Anan
(Secretary General of the United Nations) is a Christian man who fears God--and
the nations, (including the US) as the congregation. There are those in the congregation
who think the pastor is not moving forward fast enough. So they go on without
the pastor. My question is this, will God bless that? Or will God wait until some
kind of reconciliation with the pastor can take place and then move them all together
again in the right direction? Some may disagree with my assessment. But both men
(Bush and Anan) have asked Jesus to run their lives. If that is the case, they
cannot escape from Biblical principles. We may not think God's covenant people
have that kind of power over the world, but the Scriptures say that we do. I only
wish we would realize our full potential. Because of this I believe as a country
we are in a precarious position. I do not want the nation to suffer the full effects
of this judgment. I know God does not either. We can repent and appeal to HIs
mercy. We can be reconciled (as best as possible) with the nations in the UN and
at the same time press forward to see the Arab world also reconciled to Christ
and each other. I realize many see an anti-christ spirit in the UN. I understand
that, but that same spirit is also at work in many of our churches in America.
If we judge the UN, we may as well judge some of our own congregations. (Remember
our Lord's words, "Judge not, lest ye be judged, for with the same amount
that you judge it will be returned to you." Also the words the Apostle Peter
wrote, "Judgment must begin in the house of God.") America is an intercessor
here and needs to act like one, both symbolically and in the real world. The last
word I had from the Lord for this page and this recent subject was reconciliation,
restoration and recovery. However the Lord leads you to pray for these three conditions
to take place in the body of Christ, America and the nations of the world, remember
Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. For those of you that continued to email your
prayer requests while the site was down, we received them when you sent them and
prayed. Please know that we prayed for your needs and that restoration, recovery
and reconciliation would take place in your specific situations. God bless you
as you pray. |

For those of
you that have the time over the next few days, please review the previous year
or more of updates. All I can share this month is joy at the fulfillment of the
word of the Lord and the need to continue to fast and pray for those items that
have not yet been fulfilled. We are starting on a time of extended fasting and
prayer leading up to Resurrection Sunday. For those of you that can join with
us in some way, please do. Not everyone can fast food, but whatever the Lord lays
on your heart to do, do it with all joy. For those of you that can partake of
communion on a daily basis for the next 40 or so days, please join us. Please
know that we continue to lift up the burdens that you have emailed us as well
as what the Lord lays on our hearts for the nations. We continue to pray for the
peace of Jerusalem and that Ishmael's seed would come to know the fullness of
Christ as Savior and that warfare between the house of David and Ishmael would
cease. |

2004 Update: |

In January
I believe the Lord highlighted two issues to share with you this month. As I was
reviewing this page from the last year, when I got to the words concerning Osama
Bin Ladin, the Holy Spirit reinforced the need to pray for his salvation, primarily
because his time is coming due. During the time we were pondering what it was
the Lord was trying to show us, He showed me, in vision form, attempted attacks
from 'Ishmael' against 'David.' I put it in that terminology because their descendants
are not limited to one geographic area any longer. I got the impression that much
of this would take place around Passover---before, during and after that holiday.
While this is still some time off, I believe when we pray ahead of time God goes
before us as the Captain of the Lord of hosts and routs the enemy. I also want
to encourage those of you that prayed concerning catastrophic events last month.
I can't tell you how often I have read a report that a certain disaster was averted.
Most recently I read an article that talked about a nuclear plant in Amarillo,
Texas, in which experts said an explosion could have been caused by workers dismantling
parts, but nothing happened. Praise God, the Lord is protecting us in ways we
cannot always see. We continue to pray for your prayer requests as you send them
in. |

January
2004 Update: |

On December
19, 2003, I had an experience with the Lord that was at once unusual and also
undeniable. In the Spirit I saw the convergence of 4 prophecies, all pertaining
to Messiah (and the last days) and from several different dialects, but they all
seemed Islamic. It was also hard to see whether these were four events or 'prophecies'
since I did not understand the language. As these 'words' converged, opportunity
was created in the heavenlies for the Gospel to go forth. What I saw was the convergence
of stars and planets colliding and opening up literal opportunities for the advancement
of the kingdom of God. It wasn't so much that God was the cause of these 'prophecies'
but that He was going to use them to preach Jesus. Let me hasten to say that I
saw opportunity from God and also attempts by the enemy to use these seasons as
opportunities for harm. I was extremely excited by the opportunities. It was wonderful.
Yet at the same time, I had an urgency in my spirit to pray for this country's
protection, as well as the protection of many overseas. What confirmed this for
me was when the US went to high alert on the morning of December 21st. As we prayed
we sought the Lord for protection and asked Him to keep people from catastrophe.
The next morning (I believe it was) the earthquake in California took place. Many
times the Lord will give me a word for the future that will warn and save lives,
if we pray. So we prayed. Yet I know for a fact that coupled with an urgency to
pray for protection was a total excitement for open doors of opportunity to minister.
If I could only convey the awesome desire God has to give us opportunities to
expand His kingdom---it is simply glorious. As I was emailing this update to be
published I read where there had been an earthquake in Iran. I then began to understand
the sense of warning I had from the Holy Spirit to pray for protection and the
opportunities this caused to bless those who are suffering. As many of you know
the Lord had also given a word that a door for more democracy could open in Iran.
In 2001 I also received a word from the Lord to pray for a coming revival among
the descendants of Esau (and Ishmael). But in this last vision of 2003 I saw four
Islamic 'prophecies.' So I would ask those of you that can join with us in prayer
for revival in Iran and elsewhere in the Islamic world, that it would take place
with as little loss of life as is possible and that many souls are brought into
the knowledge of Jesus Christ. As in many other months we continue to pray for
